Police to Soon Reveal SMAN 3 Student Death Case

South Jakarta Metro Resort Police begin to see bright spot in the death case of Arfiand Caesar Alirhami (16), tenth grader of science class State Senior High School (SMAN) 3 Setiabudi, South Jakarta. However, the victim’s family and public are asked to be patient waiting for the investigation result, because it needs strong proves to name a suspect.

“We request time to dig deeper. The clues have narrowed down. Insya Allah (with God’s permission), there would be a bright spot. From previously four witnesses, now there are three others being questioned,” stated South Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief Sr. Comr. Wahyu Hadiningrat, Monday (6/23).

According to Hadiningrat, the main witnesses questioned are SMAN 3 students who were participated or knew about the activity that took place in Tangkuban Perahu, West Java, on June 12-19.

“We questioned the students who participated or knew about that activity. There are also families and mentors. We haven’t summoned SMAN 3 Headmaster because we’re still focused on the case. But, we have coordinated with the school party for further clues,” he disclosed.

Arfiand Caesar Alirhami died on Friday (6/20) after following student’s mountaineering extracurricular activity held by his school in Tangkuban Perahu. He was allegedly dead after bullied by his senior since there are bruises on his body. And based on autopsy result, his cause of death was blunt object hit that caused deep wounds.
